On Saturday 15 September, local Conservative Candidate for Minster, Nick Fudge, hosted the second Minster community litter pick in Courage Park.
Working alongside local residents, they were able to clear 5 black bin bags worth of rubbish, including cans, broken glass and large amounts of fly-tipping in the adjacent woods. Nick said: 'I have been made aware that fly-tipping is an increasing issue in Minster and I would encourage you to report it to Reading Borough Council as soon as you come across it.'
It is understood that illegal fly-tipping is an increasing issue in Minster and Nick will be going door to door, encouraging residents to report it to Reading Borough Council.
